We have a growing and thriving community of young families here at our church who meet in different ways both through the week and on Sundays. During our 10:00am worship we have a playroom downstairs where our Sunday Tots (Ages 0-2) interact with each other while parents either engage in worship or roster on their turn to serve.
CBC kids: age 3-10
CBC kids is a community that is full of life and fun and is all about our kids discovering God's truth for their lives. CBC kids is upstairs at Agora during our 10:00am worship in the School Terms.
Stomp: age 10-13
Stomp is our junior youth community that meet fortnightly upstairs at Agora on Mondays during the school term. They have crazy fun together as they also discover God's love for them and his call for them to love each other, their neighbours and all the people of this world. Each term also features several main events each term where they can bring their friends and enjoy more crazy time together!
Checkpoint: age 13-18
Checkpoint is our vibrant youth community for school years 9-13 and they really know how to live life for Jesus and have fun doing so! They meet every Wednesday night at Agora during school terms as well as weekend events.
Impact: age 18-30
Impact is our young adult & university student community who are taking things to the next level and are making an impact on all those around them! They meet every Tuesday night to encourage each other, be inspired by God and regularly pack their bags for some random road trip or weekend adventure.
We believe God created us in his image - created to be creative just as He is so that we can point people to Him. Our community is full of talented and creative people who use their abilities for exactly that. Our weekly worship is one of the places where this is most expressed through music, multi media, lighting and sound, hospitality, teaching, the dramatic, visual displays, interactive stations and much more.
We gather to worship each Sunday at Agora at 10am.
CBC's vision to become a Growing Multicultural Community came from a surprising journey with Cafe Agora. The Cafe's first '50 cents a cup' charity was Refugee Services (now Red Cross) and a friendship was born with the Colombian Community. Since these early days other Latino families have connected with our community. Every Sunday morning our regular worship is also translated live into Spanish. Keep an eye out for details on the next service.
